God is our Shepherd. We read in Matthew 18:12 where Jesus left the 99 sheep to go after the one lost sheep. He’s truly interested in the ones and twos! Often, we get tricked into thinking that to make a difference in this world, we need to be doing something big and mighty for God. Or we compare to others and that is a dreadful trap in itself. God has made each of us unique. Not one person is the same as you. You are a beautiful expression of God, with all your quirks and ways.
He does not expect us to do anything other than take one step at a time each day; one day at a time sweet Jesus. I want to encourage you today, Rome wasn’t built in a day! The more precious the vessel the longer it takes to build! God is working in and through you in your current circumstances. He wants you to stay focused and stay centered. Don’t compare with other’s or grumble in your heart about the timing of what you don’t understand. Remain resting and abiding in Him.
HIS PLANS WILL COME TO PASS.
God is not a liar and His Word is true. Your breakthrough is imminent. Take a bath, put on some good soothing music and let the honey of Heaven invigorate your agitated and irritated soul. He knows your heart, and He sees all the wonderful things you do behind the scenes! Given time, those deep desires that are planted in your heart by Him- WILL COME TO PASS. Today’s task is simply BASK! The rest will all come to pass.
BASK IN HIS GOODNESS AND BASK IN HIS KINDNESS.
Stay the course, and don’t cash in your inheritance for short term pleasures. There’s a far greater plan that God has for you. You’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg. What God has in store is going to blow your mind. You are His beloved and His most precious possession. Worth far more than rubies. How could His promises possibly pass you by? Rest up, it’s all going to work out.
1 Corinthians 1:7-9 (MSG)
7-9 Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.
