It’s time to walk on through, to step up and step out, Heaven has called you! (Matthew 28:18-20) The Cross has positioned you to SLAY, disarming the principalities and powers that want you to STAY! (Fear, intimidation, lack, insecurity, low self esteem, unworthy) It’s time to be SEEN, your life is WON, in oneness you are free to lean!
In the revelation of rest, you’re going to thrive!
“Lean on Me, when you’re not strong, I am your strength, I’m giving you a fresh song!”
Jesus wasn’t moved by man’s opinion. He received his words and mission from the Father! What’s in your hands this day? There’s an invitation into more! Those trying to hold you by the worlds patterns, selfish desires, shall not have you! There’s a price to pay, the cost- count it! Kathryn did. The disciples did. Many were martyred. What do you want this day?
Keep walking forward, keep moving!
“Where you go, I go, where you slay, I slay!”
Some things are best left to unfold without your response, without your involvement. Stay focused, stay centred, stay on track! Let the dead bury the dead! We won’t forget what you’ve done for us! No more fear and dread! Your inheritance is won! Some of you are facing on-going situations that you feel suck the life out of you, want the best of you, do everything to tie and bind you- take heart! Keep going! Keep walking! This too shall pass!
Following Jesus is a matter of urgency. There’s an invitation right now to get priorities straight! Not the affairs of the world, Kingdom priorities. Don’t assume you’ll have a chance later. What did heaven say? You’re invited into more this day!
Holding onto dead things lessons God’s best. He wants you blessed! Sacrifice, hard choices, yes! Challenges, yes! You’ll also experience great joy and reward as you follow God’s call taking nothing less! There’s an invitation to count the cost this day, don’t delay! You’re going to slay! You will see an inheritance, and live a life of wild adventures, full of surprises!
Some of you will be entrusted with local houses to raise up and release! Others will be itinerant and come and go like an elastic band as you sow! For some, it’ll be quirky start ups, the coaches that empower and lead others in the presence of God as they sow! The mission will fall into place as you trust! Your Heavenly Father with you! Step up son, it’s a NEW DAY! There will always be food on your plate! You’ve got this, heaven’s got you!
Jesus isn’t looking for perfection, or the latest degree. He’s looking for willing hearts that will surrender all and let him lead! What did heaven say? Take the bull by the horns son, and let the Spirit of God slay! The Captain of the Hosts is JESUS! You friend, are anchored to HOPE, it won’t be a slippery slope!
I hear the Spirit of God say,
“Fear not! Provision, vision, mission, and the capacity you need you’ll see! Stretched beyond what’s natural, the supernatural will make way! As My Father sent me, so I send you!”
57. On their way, someone came up to Jesus and said, “ I want to follow you wherever you go.”
58. Jesus replied, “Yes, but remember this: even the animals in the field have holes in the ground to sleep in and birds have their nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay down his head.”
59. Jesus then turned to another and said, “Come be my disciple.” He replied, “Someday I will, Lord, but allow me first to fulfil my duty as a good son and wait until my father passes away. 60. Jesus told him, “Don’t wait for your father’s burial. Let those who are already dead wait for death. As for you, go and proclaim everywhere that God’s kingdom has arrived.”
61. Still another said to him, “Lord, I want to follow you too. But first let me go home and say good-bye to my entire family.”
62. Jesus responded, “why do you keep looking back to your past and have second thoughts about following me? If you turn back you are not fit for God’s kingdom.”
Translator Footnote- 9:59 The text is literally, “Allow me first to go and bury my father.” This is an idiom of waiting until his father passed away. He wanted an inheritance in this life as his security.
