“When I look at you, I see Me! I see you blood washed and blemish free! One with Me! I gave you MY heart the day you placed your trust in Me! I also gave you a designated part! I’ve invested ALL I have in you! I’ve placed within you AN UNSHAKABLE KINGDOM!”

“ALL you need I’ve deposited in you as seed. Your part is to water that seed BY KEEPING YOUR EYES ON ME. Your identity is found in ME.”

“I see ROYALTY. I see DESTINY! I see LOVE and LIGHT and all things bright! My precious blood made us ONE for ETERNITY, can you see? Can you see how precious you are to ME? I’ve made it BASIC so a child can see.”

A few weeks ago I was having a telephone conversation with one of my girlfriends. The words, ‘back to basics’ kept coming up as we were talking about our personal lives. As wives and mothers we agreed how we can’t skip or miss the BASICS. As homemakers and mothers with young children we discussed how important the basics are. It wasn’t a heavy or loaded conversation, merely a joint observation of our own life experiences with large families.

Over the past 12 years I’ve been and continue to be a full time home maker with our 5 children. My husband is the financial provider of our family. One of the basic things my husband enjoys is a hot meal on the family table, most nights. It’s important that I do my part as nurturer/carer to the best of my ability, just as it is, that he does his part, as the provider/stabiliser of our family in this season. Peter is more than capable of cooking for himself, but enjoying a healthy, lovingly prepared meal is one of the BASIC ingredients that makes him happy in our marriage while I’m based in the home fulltime. Eating time around the table with our loved ones is top priority!

I realize there’s a spiritual parallel to this message as for weeks now, at the back of my mind I’ve heard the words ‘Back to basics! Back to basics!’

I sat with the Holy Spirit this week and asked Him what it is He’s wanting to convey to HIS BRIDE.
I heard the following;

“The BASICS in My Kingdom are like the neck on your body. If there’s no neck to hold the head, everything falls apart!”

“I’VE CROWNED YOU WITH MY GLORY. I STRENGTHEN YOU WITH MY GRACE. YOU’RE ADORNED MY PEARL AND MY GRACE RESTS UPON YOUR FACE!”

“Keep your eyes on ME, not your past mistakes, nor the wounds of your own temporary defeat. The more you see Me, the more you’ll experience transformation as your soul life will align with your true identity! I call you strong. I call you friend. Look to Me and the things that hinder you, no longer will you see. My blood at Calvary is what’s set you free. It’s the KEY to live in MY VICTORY! You are My child of destiny! I’ve delegated My authority to you, WALK FREE! You’re a part of Me and My Kingdom that’s unshakable! I see you victorious! Keep your eyes on Me, the BASICS you’ll find in Me.”

FIVE BASIC KEYS TO LONGEVITY

1. INTIMACY WITH THE TRINITY IS KEY. WORSHIP, the WORD and a WILLINGNESS to follow after Him no matter what!

2. KEEP MOVING FORWARD. Your relationship with God is based on HIS perfect sacrifice. Not your imperfections and flocculating heart attitude.

3. MINISTER OUT OF YOUR IDENTITY NOT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. Jesus HAS qualified you to be salt and light. There’s no condemnation to those in Christ!

4. CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES AND GUARD YOUR HEART. Guard the TRUTH by staying tender and childlike in your walk with Father. GOD IS LOVE. You are His treasured child. Focus on LOVE above all else. LOVE drives out fear of man, fear of failure and the fear of success! LOVE IS A PERSON NOT MERELY A CURRENCY.

5. REMAIN HUMBLE. Your life message and the anointing on your life is to SERVE your KING. To minister to HIS BRIDE and the people of the WORLD.

Now this phrase “once and for all” clearly indicates the final removal of things that are shaking, that is, the old order, so only what is unshakeable will remain. Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakeable kingdom (Daniel 7:18) we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe.
